Scott M. Shaw joined us in 2001 and currently serves as our President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Shaw has served on our board of directors from 2001 to 2006 and since July 2015. Prior to taking this position, Mr. Shaw served as President and Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning and Business Development. Prior to joining Lincoln, Mr. Shaw was a partner at Stonington Partners, Inc., where he had been since 1994. As a partner at Stonington, Mr. Shaw was responsible for identifying, evaluating and acquiring companies and then assisting in the oversight of these companies through participation on the board of directors of acquired companies. In addition, Mr. Shaw worked closely with senior management to develop long-term strategic plans, to evaluate acquisitions and new investment opportunities, to assist with refinancing, and to execute on the final sale of the company either to the public or to another company. Mr. Shaw also served as a consultant to Merrill Lynch Capital Partners Inc., a private investment firm associated with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc., from 1994 through 2000. Mr. Shaw holds an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. from Duke University. His extensive financial and business management experience provides the board a unique perspective on the issues facing companies in our industry.
Brian K. Meyer joined us in 2002 and currently serves as our Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. Mr. Meyers has more than 25 years of accounting and financial management experience. Prior to joining Lincoln, Mr. Meyers served as Vice President and Controller for Candie’s Inc. and began his career in 1989 with Richard A. Eisner (currently EisnerAmper LLP), a public accounting firm. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Wagner College.
Chad D. Nyce joined us in 2020 and currently serves as our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to taking this position, Mr. Nyce served as Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer at Strayer University, LLC, now a subsidiary of Strategic Education, Inc., from 2007 to 2019 and, prior to his tenure at Strayer, he was a Regional Vice President of Operations for InteliStaf Healthcare, Inc., one of the nation's largest privately-held healthcare staffing firms, from 2004 to 2007. Prior to his tenure at InteliStaf, Mr. Nyce served as a Vice President of the Investment Banking Division at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and has also held senior management positions at BostonCoach, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fidelity Investments. Mr. Nyce holds an MBA and a BBA from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA.
Stephen E. Ace joined Lincoln in 2008 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer to which he was promoted in January of 2013. Previously, Mr. Ace was Vice President of Human Resources. He is responsible for HR processing and reporting activities, benefits offerings and administration, employee communications and relations, and talent acquisition and development. Before joining Lincoln, Mr. Ace held the position of VP of Human Resources with Education Management Corporation. Mr. Ace possesses over 20 years of experience in Human Resources within the proprietary, post-secondary education sector. Prior to his involvement in the Education sector, he held positions in store operations and managerial training with a major retail chain. Mr. Ace holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Grove City College.
Francis S. Giglio joined Lincoln in 2004 and currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory Services. Mr. Giglio has over 25 years of experience working in higher education including positions at a national accrediting agency and higher education association. He leads a staff that is responsible for providing guidance and support to the Lincoln campuses on the multitude of federal and state regulations as well as accrediting standards. Mr. Giglio possesses a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island and master’s degree from American University in Washington, DC.
Alexandra M. Luster joined Lincoln in 1995 and currently serves as our Senior Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. With over 30 years of relevant legal experience, she oversees the Company’s Legal and Regulatory & Compliance Departments. A member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, Ms. Luster received her B.A. in Communications from Fordham University and her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Jay Rasmussen currently serves as Senior Vice President of Admissions. He joined Lincoln in 2014 and served as Campus President, first at the South Plainfield, NJ campus and then at the Mahwah, NJ campus. He was promoted to Vice President of Admissions in 2016 and was subsequently elevated to his current role in 2019. In his position Mr. Rasmussen is responsible for aligning sales strategies with operations goals to ensure a robust student population. He leads and directs a team of admissions leaders who oversee 22 locations and manages over 250 admissions employees. Before joining Lincoln, he held the positions of Admissions Representative and later Director of Admissions. Mr. Rasmussen is most proud of his 12 years of active duty military service in the Army, where he served in both Desert Storm and Desert Shield as a flight engineer.
Neal Goldstein joined Lincoln in 2025 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. He is responsible for the oversight of Lincoln’s information technology services, products, and new strategic initiatives both at the corporate level and at Lincolns’ many campuses nationwide. Prior to joining Lincoln, he was the Chief Technology Officer at Mutual of America, a retirement company focusing primarily on the needs of non-profit employees. He has held various Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer roles in the financial services industry, primarily based out of the Northeast. He also spent 8 years on the Board of Education in Roseland, New Jersey. Neal has a B.A in Economics from Trent University (Canada) and a M.S in International Economics from the London School of Economics (UK).
