Cittone Offers Medical Assistant Program in Mount Laurel
Mount Laurel, NJ - Responding to the national need for qualified Allied Health technicians, The Cittone Institute of Mount Laurel, New Jersey has begun enrolling for it's new Medical Assistant program. Opportunities within the Allied Health industry is expected to increase 36% faster than the average job.

Upon completion of the Medical Assistant program, graduates can be certified in Resting EKG exams and administering CPR. This program also prepares students for the Registered Medical Assistant Exam, offered by the American Medical Technologists. Externships are required for graduation, making actual field experience imperative prior to employment.

As part of the Medical Assistant program at The Cittone Institute, students will be trained in Wet Labs and simulated doctor's offices called Doctor's Office Classrooms (DOC). These features enhance students' educational experience by adding actual hands-on training to their studies. The DOC is an environment simulated to reproduce an actual healthcare environment. Students will take turns administering tests to each other, learning how their actions affect a patient from both sides of the examining table.

The Cittone Institute of Mount Laurel, New Jersey will be hosting a free two-hour Excel workshop from 6-8pm on Wednesday, March 19th. The workshop will include a tour of the campus and an open question and answer session about the new Allied Health programs The Cittone Institute now offers.
