Lincoln Tech Named ‘Indiana Technical School of the Year’
Indianapolis, IN - The Indiana Association of Career and Technical Teachers' has recently named Lincoln Tech as the Indiana Technical School of the Year. Lincoln Tech has been providing automotive and diesel technology education since 1962.
Lincoln earned the School of the Year award for their support and participation in high school spring seminars, summer workshops, drags, as well as their involvement with VICA, AAA Ford, and Brickyard Teacher Appreciation Day.
Lincoln Tech has also shown support to the high schools of Indiana by donating transmissions, transaxles, differentials, engines and drafting tables to schools across the state.
"We believe that auto education is a very important aspect of society, and we do what we can to create a community that will upgrade the skills of Indiana's instructors and the proficiencies of their students," commented Roger Park, Lincoln Tech's Director of Education. "By hosting seminars and drags and providing learning equipment to Indiana's high schools, we hope to maintain an excitement about the automotive industry."
