Career Education Institute's Lowell Campus Hosts Community Health Fair
Lowell, MA - Career Education Institute (CEI), a leading provider of Allied Health training, hosted a Health Fair for its students and the Lowell community on July 6th. The event which highlighted healthy practices began with a Red Cross blood drive at 9:00 a.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m. on CEI's campus. Throughout the day, students and faculty provided staff for a variety of health related activities with the assistance of community professionals and the Lowell Police Department.

"Events like our Health Fair really give CEI the opportunity to give something special back to our community," said Janine Pendleton, CEI Lowell's Allied Health Supervisor. "It also offers our students a chance to practice the skills they learn in our Allied Health Program while providing a service to their family, friends and neighbors."

The Health Fair offered attendees a wide range of helpful and informative activities such as blood pressure screenings, CPR demonstrations, nutrition and drug information displays and chair massages. The event also provided a children's fingerprinting clinic, conducted by the Lowell Police Department, to enhance the safety of CEI's little Lowell neighbors.

CEI's Lowell Campus offers in-demand career training in many programs such as Medical Assistant; Medical Administrative Assistant; Massage Therapy; Pharmacy Technician; PC Support Technician; Network Systems Administrator and Business Administration Specialist.
