Lincoln Technical Institute Car Show & Open House to Showcase New School Enhancements
Indianapolis, IN – Lincoln Technical Institute, a leading provider of automotive technology training, celebrated the opening of its new Indianapolis campus with a Car Show and Open House event on July 24, 2004. The beautiful two story facility provided a picturesque backdrop for an amazing automotive display of over 200 cars and trucks. The event was held at the new school location at 7225 Winton Drive campus in the northwest suburbs of Indianapolis.
The event welcomed local area residents to tour the school and offered prospective students a chance to see Lincoln's capabilities. The 126,000 square foot facility will enhance the school's already cutting edge programs and increase its training capacity to 2,000 students. The new building boasts newer equipment for classes, larger workshops, a full library, multiple computer resource labs, and a brand-new prepaid food court with vendors like Krispy Cream and Pizza Hut. Lincoln also plans to expand its current automotive, diesel, and drafting courses to include in demand programs such as a new electronic systems technician (EST) course.
“Everyone at Lincoln Technical Institute is excited about the move to the new facility,” said Cindy Ryan, Executive Director of Lincoln Technical Institute's Indianapolis Campus. “This larger facility offers us a prime location and enhances our ability to provide quality training programs to our students. Our staff looks forward to raising the bar in ongoing service for our students.”
Car enthusiasts from all over Indiana flocked to Lincoln Tech's Car Show to see the wide variety of vehicles on display including: classic and collector cars, custom trucks, street rods, street machines, heavy trucks and oversized wreckers. Registered vehicles competed for trophies in their vehicle classes, which were awarded to their proud owners at the end of the event.
