Lincoln Educational Services Corporation Completes Acquistion of New England Technical Institute
West Orange, NJ – Lincoln Educational Services Corporation announced today that they have completed the acquisition of New England Technical Institute, the first private technical school founded in the state of Connecticut. The acquisition brings the number of postsecondary schools which Lincoln owns and operates to 32 campuses in 15 states.

Founded in 1940, New England Technical Institute is Connecticut's oldest private technical school. Since the Taub family purchased the school in 1988, the school has offered educational training in the Electrical, Automotive, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Electronics, Licensed Practical Nursing, Allied Health, Information Technology and Culinary Arts fields. The school operates four Connecticut campuses which serve the New Britain, Cromwell, Hamden, and Shelton markets. New England Technical Institute is Lincoln's fifth brand in the Allied Health and Information Technology arenas, joining The Cittone Institute, Career Education Institute (CEI), Lincoln Technical Institute and Southwestern College.
