Lincoln Educational Services Aquires Nashville Auto-Diesel College
West Orange, NJ - Lincoln Educational Services of West Orange, NJ, has announced the acquisition of Nashville Auto-Diesel College (NADC), one of the largest specialized career schools in the Southeast. The addition of NADC brings to 24 the number of post-secondary career schools and colleges that the company owns and operates in 12 states. This latest acquisition also marks Lincoln's fourth significant acquisition since Stonington Partners purchased the company in 1999.

NADC becomes the organization's ninth and largest automotive school. It is located in Nashville, TN on 16 acres of land with 14 buildings and a training facility that houses 200 automotive bays. The campus also maintains dormitories for the students who attend the college from any of the 50 states and 61 foreign countries from which the school draws enrollments. NADC has a current student enrollment of 1,500. Founded in 1919, Nashville offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree of Auto-Diesel and Collision Repair and Refinishing Technology. Nashville's 84-year history has graduated over 44,000 technicians from around the world.

David F. Carney, Chairman and CEO of Lincoln Educational Services, said, "The prestige of Nashville Auto-Diesel combined with the skill of their graduates is a perfect complement to Lincoln's standards of exceptional training. In addition, the acquisition enables us to further advance our national growth objectives through the purchase of highly-regarded technical training schools."

The college offers an Associate of Applied Science degree in five automotive specialties, as well as diploma programs and special manufacturers' training for such firms as Kenworth, Freightliner and Ford Motor Company. NADC is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology and is approved by the Tennessee Higher Education Committee for the training of veterans, eligible persons and non-veterans.
