West Orange, NJ - The national unemployment rate has recently reached 6%*. However, there are still areas of occupation that continue to grow in popularity. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Occupational Outlook Handbook), careers in graphic design and graphic art are among the 10 fastest growing occupations in America. The BLS also goes on to say that those with formal training will have the best job opportunities for success. The Cittone Institute® can help prepare ambitious job seekers to obtain those in-demand skills with its Graphic Web Design program.
Cittone's Graphic Web Design program teaches many of the desktop publishing elements that are in demand today. This program covers the various drawing, digital photography and scanning techniques that are essential to graphic design. The course culminates with students learning how to transform their creations into a multimedia web format.
Although Graphic Web Design covers many of the standard web programs (HTML, Flash, Dreamweaver), the skills learned at Cittone can be applied in many industries that graphic design is needed. Programs that cover Adobe Illustrator and Fireworks can teach students the fundamentals of graphic design. Graphic Web Design does not limit a student to just creating web pages. It gives them the opportunity to choose from a variety of different fields where their skills are needed.
Students will first learn essential skills such as line photo manipulation, drawing and illustration. Then they will be instructed on how to incorporate multimedia software such as Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver and Adobe into web site design.
