The STAIR Program is a hands-on elective course offered by Miele at no additional cost to qualified Lincoln Tech students in the HVAC and Electrical & Electronic Systems Technician programs.  Selected students receive training focused on Miele systems and equipment, in a program that includes courses on the Miele organization and its history, tool safety, product installation scenarios, and much more.  By the end of the program, students will have built the skills and hands-on experience that can open doors to careers working on Miele appliances.

"Lincoln Tech and Miele have worked together for a number of years, and we're delighted to introduce their STAIR Program to our students," says Jay Rasmussen, President of the Lincoln Tech campus in Mahwah, NJ.  "Miele's reputation for excellence in appliance manufacturing is well-earned, and their product line is known around the world for exceptional quality, durability and styling.  We're excited to know our graduates will have the opportunity to launch careers with such an established organization."

At the Mahwah campus Miele also sponsors a training room that is fully outfitted with refrigerators, dishwashers, range hoods, coffeemakers and more, giving students experience working with the full line of Miele products.  In the past, Miele, Inc. has hired Lincoln Tech graduates to work on these same appliances.

"The Miele STAIR program inspires strong technically skilled students with a passion to discover innovative market leading home appliances," says Oliver Schmidt, Installation Trainer at Miele's Princeton, NJ facility.  "With these qualified young professionals Miele is able to grow the brand by providing first-class products and services. Lincoln Tech's courses are ideal for understanding the product and appreciating the dynamic development of quality. The partnership offers students greater opportunities to realize their potential."

Lincoln Tech students also recently had the opportunity to tour the Princeton facility, and to speak with Miele representatives about career paths and opportunities after graduation.
